About Harmony

国籍も言葉も越えて、
つながれる場所。

A place to connect across countries and languages.

「海外の友達ができる場所を、もっと増やしたい」そんな思いで、日本に住む人と世界中から来た人が自然に出会えるコミュニティをつくっています。

We started Harmony to give more people a place to make friends from other countries. It's where people living in Japan and people from all over the world meet naturally.

国籍・年齢・語学力は問いません。英会話教室ではないので、「新しい人と話してみたい」気持ちがあれば十分です。

Any nationality, any age, any language level. This isn't a language class: wanting to meet new people is all you need.

話すのが好きなら言語交換、歌うならカラオケ、朝型ならラン、お酒好きなら日本酒の会。自分に合う形で参加できます。

Love talking? Join a language exchange. Love music? Karaoke. Early riser? The morning run. Into sake? Our sake nights. Pick what suits you.

参加者の多くが初参加・おひとり参加です。席は主催者が決め、トークテーマも用意しているので、初対面でも自然に話せます。

Most guests come alone the first time. The host arranges the seating and brings conversation topics, so talking with strangers comes easily.

Friends, not just small talk

何度も顔を合わせるうちに、イベントの外でも会える仲間ができていきます。目指しているのは、本当の友達づくりです。

Keep coming and you'll see familiar faces, and soon friends you meet outside the events too. That's what Harmony is for.

会場はすべてCafe Harmony（鶴見）。参加費は当日、現金かPayPayでお支払いください。

Harmonyの定番イベント。4〜5人のテーブルで、日本語と英語を15分ずつ切り替えながら話します。30分ごとの席替えで、1回に9〜10人と話せます。

Our signature event. Tables of 4–5, switching between Japanese and English every 15 minutes. Seats change every 30 minutes, so you'll meet 9–10 people.

時間When: 主に土日 11:00–13:00（受付10:45〜）Mostly weekends, 11:00–13:00 (check-in from 10:45)
流れFlow: 受付・自己紹介シート → 3ラウンドの交流 → 終了後はみんなでご飯（任意）Check-in & intro sheet → 3 rounds of tables → lunch together afterwards (optional)
料金Fee: 1,000円（1ドリンク込み）¥1,000 (one drink included)

前半は少人数グループで言語交流、後半はみんなでカラオケ。J-POP、洋楽、アニソン、母国の歌、なんでもOKです。歌わずに聴くだけ・盛り上げるだけでも大歓迎。

Small-group conversation first, then karaoke together. J-pop, English hits, anime songs, songs from home: anything goes. Listening and cheering count too.

時間When: 主に土曜 14:00〜（回によって終了時間が異なります）Mostly Saturdays from 14:00 (end time varies)

鶴見川沿いを3〜5km、自分のペースで走る日曜朝活。速さは関係なく、ウォーキングでもOK。走ったあとはカフェでコーヒーを飲みながら交流します。

A Sunday-morning run of 3–5 km along the Tsurumi River, at your own pace. Walkers welcome. Afterwards we chat over coffee at the café.

時間When: 毎週日曜 8:00–10:00（8:00 カフェ集合）Every Sunday 8:00–10:00 (meet at the café at 8:00)
雨の日Rain: ランは中止して、カフェで交流しますWe skip the run and meet at the café
持ち物Bring: 走りやすい服と靴。荷物はカフェに置けます（シャワーはありません）Running clothes and shoes. Leave your bag at the café (no showers)

日本酒を飲み比べながら、英語と日本語で交流する会。日本酒に詳しくなくても大丈夫、一人参加も歓迎です。

Taste Japanese sake while chatting in English and Japanese. No sake knowledge needed, and solo guests are welcome.

Questions

英語（日本語）が話せなくても大丈夫？My English / Japanese isn't good. Is that OK?

大丈夫です。初心者の方や、日本語しか話せない方もたくさん参加しています。

Yes. Many guests are beginners, and some only speak Japanese.

一人で参加しても浮きませんか？Can I come alone?

参加者の大半がおひとりです。席は主催者が決めるので、自然に話の輪に入れます。

Most people do. The host arranges the seating, so you'll be in a conversation from the start.

支払い方法は？How do I pay?

当日、受付で現金かPayPayでお支払いください。クレジットカードは使えません。

At the reception, in cash or PayPay. Credit cards aren't accepted.

Meetupから申し込むのと違いはありますか？Is this different from signing up on Meetup?

同じイベントです。どちらから申し込んでも大丈夫です（二重に申し込まないようご注意ください）。

It's the same event. Either way works, just don't sign up twice.

遅れそう・行けなくなったときは？What if I'm late or can't come?

行けなくなった場合は前日22時までに確認メールへ返信してください。言語交換は席を組んでから始めるため、遅れると参加できない場合があります。

Reply to your confirmation email by 10 pm the day before. Language exchange tables are set at the start, so late arrivals may not be able to join.
